Annika and me went through the mass of condolence cards we both received and we want to thank all of you who stood and still stand with us in those hard times. Thank you for your kind words, your gifts and your donations too – we hope all your effort will help to heal our deeply broken hearts. Thank you very much!

More Pictures
I went through Nadines’s storage device where she kept backups from her iPhone and pictures she got from other people. I took the best of them and added them to the end of the “Nadine in Pictures”-gallery.
On the one hand it is nice to loose myself in all these pretty memories, but on the other hand I’m always confronted with the fact that they are all that’s left. With the cruel downside that I can’t put my arms around them…
One Month
Today it’s one month since Nadine closed her eyes forever. I went for a run this morning with tears in my eyes. The woods above our house hold so many memories of togetherness. It is so hard to accept that Nadine isn’t around anymore and that all these things can never be repeated, just replayed in some shadowy memories.
In fact it’s the little things I miss the most: walking the woods together, sharing a jar of sangria in the sun, visiting the vicunas at the Wilhelma, going to the movies, … All these things that make perfect days. I would give everything for being able to spend some more of them with Nadine.
P.S.: The picture was taken on a day trip to the pictorial village of Colliure in Southern France.
