We’re not alone anymore: my father and his partner Arja are joining us for about a week from now on. They flew in from Finland yesterday and arrived in Fitou in the middle of the night. So we’re a team of four now and will make some trips in the region during the next few days.

We spent the day at Perpignan, which is the Catalan capital in Southern France and belongs to the French only since 1659. It’s flair is mainly mediterranean with a  splash of arabic. You can enjoy a bottle of coke there at the Bar and Britz,  a venue on the Place de la Republique which is run by a former Rugby professional.

We made it to our destination without any problems – so we’re in Southern France now! On the first day, we went shopping for food, prepared the house our friend Ralph let us stay in and went to the beach in the afternoon sun. Very pleasant!
